Meet the DvO’ERs

Shannon Urrutia started DVO in January 2025 in Memphis, Tennessee, with a simple idea: bring women around the table for conversations that matter.

She graduated from the University of Memphis Law School in May 2026, moved to Atlanta, and launched DVO Atlanta in August 2026.

When she’s not studying for the bar exam you can find her working at the bakery below her apartment, planning the next DVO, or reading as many books as possible.

Shannon has called three DVO locations her home at some point, but her favorite is Memphis. Her parents and her perfect dogs (Sammy and Oliver) still live there.
